Laura Linney has been hailed as one of America's most acclaimed actors. Her fame is for her strong character who are as fragile. After spending the summers with her father's business Laura Linney fell in love by theatre. Then, at Brown University she studied acting as well as at Juilliard School, after which, her career took off. After graduating at Brown University in the year 2000, she made her Broadway debut in the following year. After two years of this, her first feature film hit the market, and next year her TV debut. She has appeared on numerous stages, films and television productions since then. In her long professional career, she's received numerous awards. These include 2 Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards as well as three Academy Award nominations and five Tony Award nominations. She has been nominated for five Tony Awards as well as three Oscar Awards nominations. In spite of all the recognitions and awards, theatre is still her passion and she is determined to play on screen and stage.
